Link Thickness that Thule K-Summit Tire Chains Add to Tire Diameter
Question:
Considering clearance, what is the maximum thickness of the plastic traction plates in mm? Meaning how much do they add to the width of the tire where they attach across the upper and outer edge of the tire? Concerned about wheel well clearance on the outer and upper side.

The link thickness of the Thule K-Summit tire chains # TH02230K22 is 10 mm which means that 10 mm is added to the top of your tires as well as to the outer shoulders of the tire. Due to how these install they do not add clearance to the inner shoulder of the tire.
