The information that you received is correct in that if you are getting outside wear on your tires on both sides simultaneously it indicates that you don't have enough weight in your trailer.

For your situation I recommend the 205/75R15 size tires the Taskmaster Provider # TR20515D. This has a load range D (2,150 lbs at 65 psi).

You may want to have some extra weight in your trailer like sand bags or cinder blocks to help increase the weight of your trailer. You may need to have a trial-and-error basis to see what works best for your application.

If you have a different tire size please let me know what it is and I can see what we have a Goodyear tire in that size or you can check out our linked selection for the appropriate tire size.

You can try that if you like but we don't recommend using car tires for trailer purposes as vehicle tires have more flex in the sidewall to help with ride quality while trailer tires have stiffer sidewalls to help accommodate their loads.
