Looking for the Reese factory prep adapter I can use in my 18 gmc 3500 long bed. Um told its same as Ford?

It sounds like you want to adapt the factory towing prep package in your 2018 GMC 3500 8 ft bed to be able to use your Reese fifth wheel hitch that attaches to industry standard fifth wheel rails. If that is what you are trying to accomplish, you need Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package part # DM6206. There is a not a Reese brand adapter available for the GMC but the Demco adapter drops into the puck holes in your bed and allows you to use your standard 5th wheel trailer hitch that attaches to standard rails.

The 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with 6-1/2 ft bed uses the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package part # DM6194.
