Does RV Door Need to Be Fully Open to Install Lippert SolidStep

Question:

Wondering if solid step will work in my Rockwood Roo IKSS 23. If I remove the door strut and open the entry door completely, looks like I can open my awning. Does the door have to be completely open.

The RV door does not need to be all the way open to be able to install a SolidStep like the part # LC678041 that you referenced. It just needs to be open enough to allow the steps to pass through the doorway. So basically as long as the door can be mostly open it will work fine with the SolidStep.

I attached a picture that shows what type of access the steps need to the doorway.
