Shortening a 67 Inch Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring

Hi can this be cut to size my old measures 62inch end to end. Thanks

I spoke with my contact at TRC and he assured me that the Trailer Ramp Spring, part # 362SW61, can be cut down to the 62 inches you want. He also stated that these items were designed to be adjusted. Be sure you make the cut as close as possible to the exact measurement you have for the best fit. I checked the item in our warehouse and verified that there is a copy of the instructions in the box.
