How To Remove Stuck Hitch Ball from Gooseneck On a 2008 Ford F-250  

Question:

I have a 2008 Ford F250 with the factory gooseneck I have been trying originally with penetrating oil putting up block grater blade and a Jack with a chain to the top of the ball putting pressure on it also heat and penetrating oil from the bottom Ive used it hammer Ive also used in air chisel for vibrating the ball nothing seems to make it come loose do you have any good ideas Ive even resorted to heating the ball socket with a torch

I may have some other options for you but I would need to know what model gooseneck hitch you have first. The factory gooseneck hitch was not present on a Ford F-250 until 2011. That said, if you have indeed done all of what you said then it sounds like there may still be a pin, or part of the pin broken off holding the hitch ball in place as I have never heard of one being that hard to remove. If all else fails then you will need to start cutting/drilling until you get the ball out though it would not be in one piece. I don't really have any other advice for you as it sounds like you have tried them all.
