Factory Connection Location for a Electric Trailer Brake Controller on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500

have a new 2011 dodge 1500 ram try to a brake controller on but cant find the harness under the dash it has the 7 way plug on it

Finding the factory connector on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 can be tricky. Sometimes the harness is hidden behind other wiring or components and you have to feel around and fish it out. The harness should be located underneath the dash and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. There will be a 4-pin connector that mates with the one on the adapter, # 3021-P.
