Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2019 Ram 2500 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

I Have a reese pro 16k series fifth wheel hitch. I used it with the universal rail system in my ford truck. I bought a new truck, and it has the puck system 2019 Ram 2500. I found the reese square frame that the hitch mounts to, but also see the curt which you mount the head to. Will the reese hitch work on the curt one? Do you recommend one over the other? Thanks for any info.

The only way to install a Pro Series fifth wheel hitch like what you have in the bed of your 2019 Ram 2500 is with the Ram rail kit adapter part # RP30154 as the Curt hitch base can only be used with Curt hitch heads.

Or if you wanted a somewhat similar hitch that fits directly to the rail kit of your truck the Reese 20k part # RP30918 would be a great option. Reese and Pro Series are actually made by the same company with the Reese brand being the upgraded version compared to the economic Pro Series line.
