Bike Rack Solution Recommendation for 2018 Nissan Rogue

Question:

Ive got a Nissan Rogue 2018 regular model. Thule and others claim none of their rear-mounted trunk bike racks will fit. But I see you have several options that will work. You note, however, no spoiler.inch Our model is a standard Rogue S FWD CVT 2018, i.e. base model. There does seem to be a built-in spoiler accent at the back, but it is suble and standard. So .... will a Thule or other rack fit in back? Thanks!

I do have a solution that will allow you to carry a bike rack with your 2018 Nissan Rogue, but due to the spoiler you have at the rear of your vehicle you'll have to go a different route since there aren't any trunk options that fit.

The option that will work on your truck and actually will give you an overall more secure and better rack setup is a trailer hitch bike rack. Aside from a much more secure attachment to the vehicle the rack doesn't touch the vehicle paint at all which helps protect it. So for a hitch you'll want the etrailer.com hitch part # E98846 which is a mostly hidden 2 inch hitch that will work great for a bike rack.

The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. We asked our demo and install guys to name their favorite, most easy-to-use bike racks and this one showed up in nearly everyone's top three. Check out the review video I attached for more info.

If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
