Best Under-Bed 5th Wheel Mounting System for a 2011 Ram 2500

Question:

I plan on buying a 2011 Ram 2500 crew cab short bed truck, to pull a 29 ft 5th wheel trailer. Id like a removable hitch that leaves nothing in the bed once the hitch is out. Can you make some recommendations please? Thank you.

The best below bed mounting system for your 2011 Ram 2500 is the Underbed Rails and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # RP30852. This system installs using pre-drilled holes in your frame and will give you full bed access with the hitch removed. This is actually the same system installed from the factory on newer Ford, Ram, and Chevy trucks (Spacing Different for Ram/Chevy). Also, this option will allow for the greatest selection of 5th wheel trailer hitches. I know this may be a bit confusing but the Underbed Rails and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches will allow you to mount any 5th wheel hitch designed for the Ford OEM Prep Package.
