Should Friction Pads Be Lubricated on Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System

Do these need any lubrication? The pads seem so dry??

You do not need to lubricate the pads for your Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP66558. Standard lubrication products can actually cause more of an issue since they leave residue behind.
If the pads look too dry you can use some brake cleaner since that won't leave any residue but will do a nice job of dissolving grime/debris.
