2-1/2 inch Hitch Shank for Use with Pro Series Weight Distribution System # 49904
Question:
I have the above hitch and recently purchased a new 19 F250 Superduty which comes with a 2-1/2 receiver. I owned a 16 F250 when I purchased the trailer which had a 2 receiver and the dealer installed the pro series hitch. But now I am using a sleeve to make up the difference and not a fan of it. It is very sloppy. I was looking at some of the shanks on your site and wanted to know if any of those would work with my Pro series hitch. I contacted Reese and they said they do not make a 2-1/2 shank for Pro Series of hitches. Thanks

The Curt weight distribution shank part # C17131 that you referenced would be exactly what you'd need. This is compatible with your Pro Series weight distribution system since they both fit the same drop shank dimensions and it fits a 2-1/2 inch hitch so you wouldn't need the sleeve adapter anymore and you'd have a much tighter fit.
