When Installing a Transmission Cooler Can the Inlet/Outlet Ports Face Down

Can the cooler have the inlet and outlet facing down?????

Yes, you can install a transmission cooler like the Derale 25-Row Stacked-Plate Cooler part # D52506 so that the inlet and outlet ports are facing down. The inlet and outlet ports do not need to be pointed in any one specific direction as the line pressure will work to pump the fluid though the inlet of the cooler and out the outlet to be returned back to the transmission. In order to install the above you will need the following:
Derale -6 AN Female Swivel part # D98200
Derale High-Temperature Replacement Hose part # D13016
Bracket Kit for Derale High Performance Stacked-Plate Coolers part # D50020
Derale Stainless Steel Hose Clamps part # D13008
Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting part # D13035 (For Chevy Silverado)
