Recommended Ladder Rack To Carry Kayaks On a 1999 Dodge Dakota

Question:

Can this rack modify to fit for Dodge Dakota 1999-6 1/2 bed? If not do you have other part that similar to Acarac one? We use the rack for 2 kayaks.

I do have an option for you depending on what features you were looking for but I cannot recommend that you modify the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A90630 to fit your 1999 Dodge Dakota. That said, the square crossbars that the Adarac Custom has are not ideal for kayak carriers. Instead, I recommend the Rola Haul-Your-Might Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # 59742 which uses standard size aero shaped crossbars that will work with most rooftop mounted accessories such as the Rola J-Rac Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs part # 59912 which is what I recommend that you use to carry your kayaks.

If you can let me know what features that you were looking for, I may have a better option for you.
