Recommended Suspension Enhancement System for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 In 40 Degree
Question:
I noticed that the Sumo Springs have a temperature range. What happens if you operate outside these ranges. I live in a very cold climate and it gets down to -40 degrees every now and then.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs do indeed have a minimum temperature range of -25 degree Fahrenheit. If the temperature were to reach below this then they would become very brittle and could then crumble apart. Therefore, I instead recommend using the SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA8MTKT which will add support just as the Solo Custom Helper Springs but there is no minimum temperature range.
