Does Installing Converter # 118158 Require Diodes Too
Question:
If i am installing converter # 118158 do i need to use diodes anywhere or should i be good with just this? if i do need diodes which ones and where do i install them? trying to get the tail lights in a utility bed trailer to do the same as my truck that is already equipped with 7 pin plug in.

You do not need any diodes to install the Converter box part # 118158 that you referenced. If the goal is to add a third brake light to the wiring you already have present you can install the converter with quick splice connectors like part # SWC502905-1 so that the current wiring isn't interrupted.
