Recommendation to Replace 4.80-12 Trailer Tires

Question:

i have a tear camper that is built on a harbor freight 4x8 trailer. it has 4.80-12 tires with four lug pattern. i need to replace the tires with new ones. the whole rig weighs around 800 pounds and will be pulled behind a toyota matrix car. i am about to travel 6,000 miles with it. should i buy 4 ply or 6 ply? or what is reccamended tire? thanks.

To replace the 4.80-12 size tires on your tear camper I highly recommend the Taskmaster # TT48012C. This is a radial 6 ply tire which means it's going to run a lot cooler on the highway compared to bias alternatives, making it a great choice before you take off on the extended road trip you mentioned. It features a maximum load of 990 pounds at 90 psi and an excellent speed rating of 81 mph (most trailer tires have a 65 mph rating).

I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
