Square Gooseneck Coupler For Trails West Combo Horse Trailer

I am in search of a inner tube for Bulldog gooseneck coupler. The locking pin which is spring loaded and pushes down to lock the coupler to the the trailer hitch ball is slightly bent and wont go all the way down. The inner tube is 4inch in diameter but doesnt have side locking pins it is just solid and when slid into the outer coupler it is locked in place by two locking bolts. The trailer is a Trails West combo horse with living quarters 2005 model. Can i buy just the inner tube? I notice most of them have a side locking pin and does that matter?

From my research it looks like the Trails West combo horse with living quarters 2005 model has a square Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler. All of the square inner tubes available have the holes for the pins. A lot of trailer manufacturers have switched from set screws to lock pins for safety reasons. It may be best to just replace your whole gooseneck coupler with Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler part # BD1289140300.
