Does the Thule ProRide XT need the XADAPT kit to fit on Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack Bars TH7603-TH7604?

You do not need the XADAPT kit. Since the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack # TH7603-TH7604 for your 2012 BMW 5 Series has the T-Slots you will just use the included T-track hardware to mount the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004.
