Selecting a Trailer Hitch for a 2008 Pontiac G6 Towing a Cargo Trailer

Is this hitch able to pull a uhaul cargo trailer.

Per the 2008 Pontiac G6 owner manual the maximum weight of a trailer used should not exceed 1,000 pounds. So as long as the cargo trailer you use is less than 1,000 pounds when fully loaded, you can tow it using your G6 with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36426. Even though the hitch is rated higher, you're always limited by your lowest rated component, which in this case is the vehicle.
