Can Fulton XLT Powered Drive Trailer Jack Be Powered by Truck's 7-Way Connector

Question:

Can this jack be powered from the trucks rear 7-way, 12V trailer plug? Is the trucks wiring capable of handling the load? I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra with towing package. The review/instruction videos all have a separate stand-alone battery that powers the jack.

The 12V circuit from your truck's 7-Way isn't typically the best source to power a higher-rated accessory like the Fulton XLT Powered Drive Trailer Jack # F141401 that you referenced. You might be able to operate the jack in this manner but it will likely be slow going and you may blow a fuse under the hood depending on the type of load you're looking at.

The best way to power an electric jack really is with a dedicated 12V battery like you mentioned. This will ensure quick and reliable operation whenever you need it. I have attached a short video review on this jack that you can check out as well.
