Can the Thule Hitching Post Pro Carry an Electric Bike
Question:
Most e bikes weigh in excess of 50-60 lbs. Will the bike carrier be able to handle the weight of an e bike?

Expert Reply:
We do have bike racks that can handle the weight of electric bikes but the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR, can only carry bikes up to 35 pounds each.
Instead take a look at the Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B, which can carry up to two 60 pound bikes. It also includes a lock for the rack.
If the Saris isn't what you're looking for let me know how many bikes you need to carry and what vehicle you're carrying them on and I'll make a more specific recommendation for you.
