Attaching Chain Hangers of Pro Series RB3 Weight Distribution System # PS49582 to 2 inch Wide Frame

Question:

the chain hanger brackets for my load bars are 3inch wide but the boxed frame on the sportrek travel trailer is only 2inch thick. do the chain hanger brackets come in different widths or is ths the way it is supposed to be? I know to screw the bolt in but seems like the bracket should be a tighter fit.

Best option would be to add an inch spacer to both sides of your trailer frame where you want to install the chain hangers of the Pro Series RB3 Weight Distribution System # PS49582 which will allow the chain hanger brackets to fit tighter and more secure.
