Replacing Brake Assemblies of Loadmaster Boat Trailer Carrying 26 Foot Long Boat
Question:
I have a tandem load master boat trailer with 26foot boat weighing 5500# dry. I am not sure of the model number of the trailer, the sticker is faded. It has an electric brake setup on only one of the axles. I have removed the old brakes and the shoe measures 13inch total on the 2inch wide section, the pads were completely worn down to tell where the actual pads were. Would the AKEBRK-7-SA brake setup work for my trailer ?

Based on what you described your trailer has 12 inch by 2 inch brake assemblies installed on it which is a very standard and common size. For a set of electric brakes that are self adjusting and will work really well as a replacement I'd recommend the etrailer 5.2k to 7k brake assembly set part # AKEBRK-7-SA. These will replace what you have easily and will give you new brakes that will work much better than your worn out set currently.
I attached an install video for these for you to check out as well.
