Should Bunk Boards be Changed with Fenders for 2000 Escort Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 2000 Escort boat trailer. Are the small carpet bunks necessary as I need a new fender.

If the bunks on your 2000 Escort boat trailer are in bad shape then it wouldn't be a bad idea to swap them out while you are installing new fenders like the part # F008584-2 you referenced.
I have attached some dimensional information for this set of fenders that you can reference as well as a link to boat trailer parts we carry that includes bunk boards. If you need help with recommendations please send me some dimensions of your current parts so I can help you out.
Please note that you need to make sure you have about 4" of clearance between your tires and fenders to accommodate the flex of your suspension.
