How to Determine Fitment of Timbren Rear SES on a 2011 Ford F-350 with 2-1/2 Lift

Question:

Hello I am interested in adding the Timbren helper springs to my 2011 f350 with 2.5inch leveling kit. I am concerned that the timbren units wont help enough with squat pulling my 15k fifth wheel. Any thought i feel like my only other choice is airbags.

To ensure proper fitment of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFR350SDF on your 2011 Ford F-350 with the 2-1/2" lift you just need to measure from the frame surface where your OEM bump stop sits to your axle. This Timbren kit is 7-1/2" tall (including the 1/2" spacer) so if that distance measures between 7-1/2" to 9" this will fit your application, plus it is rated for up to 8,600 lbs.

I have attached an installation video of this Timbren system on a 2013 F-350 that you can reference. If you don't measure the above then let me know and I can help you pick out an air bag system for your application. Air bag kits provide more customized applications but they do require maintenance whereas the Timbren only apply under a load and they require no maintenance.
