How To Install the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit RP30035 On a 1993 Ford F-250
Question:
Got a 93 f250 long bed, should the king pin be center over axle, or 3 to 4 inches in front of the axle? The Instructions dont specify for a 93. Thanks

When installing the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30035, the rails will be positioned so that the kingpin sits 4" in front of the rear axle. I have attached for you a photo with the process to install the above on your 1993 Ford F-250 Long Bed. If you don't yet already have a 5th wheel hitch, the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 is what I recommend using because of the tight grip the dual jaws have on the kingpin which reduces chucking thereby making for a smoother ride.
