Does Firestone Suspension Enhancement for 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 Require Heat Shields with Diesel

Question:

Have a 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with the duramax. Looking at Firestone kit # 2596. Do I need any diesel exhaust heat shields to protect the bag.

The Firestone kit part # F2709 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 diesel as-is and does not require any additional heat shields. Diesel exhaust is very hot but these are far enough away and made well enough that it won't be an issue.

For a compressor kit then the heavy duty part # F2097 will work great to make inflating the bags and maintaining them easier. The compressor will inflate faster than standard compressors and the gauge inside the vehicle will allow you to monitor and inflate them from inside the vehicle.
