Will Curt Echo Work as Supplemental Braking System for 2002 Jeep Liberty
Question:
Hi, I have a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery 37 foot MH and a 2002 Jeep Liberty toad. It came with a Brake Buddy system which I find cumbersome. Will the Curt replace the Brake Buddy? If so, then do I need anything inside the Jeep for the brake pedal?

The Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 is a trailer brake controller and it would not work as a supplemental braking system for your 2002 Jeep Liberty.
We do have the perfect solution for the cumbersome Brake Buddy, which is to install a system which is a one-time install that you don't have to continually set up each time you are looking to flat tow. For this you will want to use the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243 because I do believe your 2000 Fleetwood Discovery has air brakes, though it if does not you would need the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 with Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400.
I have added links to video installs of these parts for you to check out so you can see how it is done.
