Are Performance Tuners Universal or Vehicle-Specific

Does it have to be the exact truck or can i plug to same model different truck and program to stock

Performance tuners like the Edge Gas Evolution CTS3 # EP59YR which works with 4.6L and 5.4L Ford Triton V8 and multiple other years, makes, and models, of Mazdas, Excursions, Expeditions, Explorers, F-150's, F-250's, F350's. Mustangs, Flex, Focus, Lincolns, etc. It will depend on the year, make model, and engine. The # EP59YR will function correctly only with the specific vehicles for which they are intended. Tuners like these are not universal fits for all vehicles.

Tuners like this store a vehicle's original factory tune in their internal memory when they load in the alternate/performance tune program. To return a vehicle to its factory tune you need to use the same tuner that installed the alternate tune since the factory tune will be stored in that tuner.

You can use it on one vehicle at a time or purchase an additional vehicle license from edge to use it on more than one simaltaneously.
