Will Performance Tool Solar Battery Charger # PTW2997 Overcharge Battery
Question:
Does this have a charge controller? If not do I need to worry about over charging my batteries?

I have actually spoken to my contact at Performance Tool before about the possibly of overcharging with the Solar Battery Charger # PTW2997. He said that this unit does feature a built-in control that will shut the charger down when the battery is completely charged. There is no risk of overcharging the battery even if you were to use this for a longer-term application such as when the camper is in storage.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this charger that you can check out as well.
