Will 4-Flat and Tow Bar Wiring Both Work on 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
Do you have any advice for me regarding wiring my 2018 Jeep JLU Wrangler to both tow my utility trailer and be flat towed by my motor home? Seems to be a lot of overlap between these two. It would be nice if there was a kit that accomplished both short of that, can I use this 118821 together with the Curt 56407? If so, which goes in first/in front of the other plug in kit? How do I do this? Thanks!

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56407 and Tow Ready 118821 will absolutely work together on your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited to give you a 4-way at the rear of your Jeep to tow your trailer and at the front to flat tow. The reason for this is the Curt connector will plug into the tail light housing while the Tow Ready will splice in; I recommend starting with the Curt and then installing the Tow Ready.
The other option if you wanted to make things really simple is to install the Curt Wiring Harness # C56407 and instead of using tow bar wiring, simply bypass it with magnetic tow lights by Roadmaster # RM-2120.
If it has a 7-way you can use the 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716. I've added links to reviews of the magnetic kits for you to check out as well.
