Are Extra Diodes Needed On Jeep Wrangler that Has Trailermate Tow Bar Harness Installed

Question:

I bought a used 2011 Jeep Wrangler the other day. It has what appears to be from information in the glove box a Trailer Mate Part Number 781124 RV Tow Harness Wiring Kit installed. I am about to install a Roadmaster Invisabrake system, and I need to know if there are diodes built into the 781124 harness that will protect my braking system from feedback.

The Trailermate harnesses advertised that there were diodes in them to prevent the current from getting back to the vehicle wiring but we found out they weren't there. You'll want to put diodes like the part # RM-690 on the vehicle wiring to prevent the backfeeding of the circuits.
