Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 with B and W Gooseneck Installed

Question:

I want to use a Pullrite superglide fifth wheel hitch for my camper. Is there an adapter that will work with my BandW gooseneck hitch on my 2016 Chevy 2500 Duramax, or do I just need to put in fifth wheel rails. Thanks

The auto sliding style of fifth wheel hitches can't be used with the B and W Turnoverball hitches as they require the hitch connect in four locations on the outsides of the hitch whereas the Turnoverball solutions only attach with a center post and the torque is too much for the hitch. This is true even with an adapter like the part # DM6140 that you referenced.

The simplest solution is to go with a B and W Companion Slider like part # BWRVK3400 which will fit your current gooseneck hitch directly and gives you basically the best hitch on the market, but it's not an auto slider. It's a manual slider.
