Can Air Pressure be Left in Trailair Flex Air Pin Box and Will they Leak
Question:
Two questions: 1 Is it ok to keep the air bag inflated when we are on trips? Longest trips are 10 days. 2 Will the air bags lose air over the course of a week? Im trying to avoid bringing along an auxiliary air tank or having to buy a small compressor.

Helpful Expert Reply:
It is perfectly fine to leave pressure in the air bags of a Flex Air like the part # LC328492 for an extended period of time. This does not hurt seals, lines, or the air bag itself in any way. The Flex Air pin boxes are not known for leaking air pressure so you'd not need to bring any type of backup compressor or air tank. It will hold pressure perfectly fine.
