Solution for Prodigy Brake Controller Sending Power to Brakes with Hazards On

I have a 2015 Wrangler, 3.6L. It came equipped from the factory installed Prodigy System. It works flawlessly except when the hazard lights are activated when pulling a step grade, pulling my trailer the brakes apply, or pulsate in sink with the hazard lights as they cycle on and off. I also have a 2011 Ford F150 that also has a factory installed Prodigy system. Just for kicks I activated the hazard lights when pulling my trailer and it works find. Do not get the pulsating brakes like I get on the Wrangler.

We do sometimes see this issue on certain vehicles and when it happens the best solution is adding the Draw-Tite Pulse Preventer # 5501. This will essentially isolate the Prodigy brake controller on your Jeep from the flashers to prevent it from sending power when they are applied. I have attached a diagram to assist.
