Recommended Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System For a 6,500 Lb Aerolite Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2008 Aerolite camper that is a little over 4700 lbs dry weight and around 6500 loaded. I dont haul it with the tanks full. It also fits a 2inch ball. So would the Husky 32215 work to tow my trailer?.

For your 2008 Aerolite Travel Trailer, I recommend the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32217 which is rated for up to 800 lbs of tongue weight instead of the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32215 which is only rated for up to 600 lbs of tongue weight. The reason being that it is okay to go with an overrated system but you will run into issues with an underrated system. This also allows for more weight to be added if needed.
Also, the system must be rated for not only the loaded tongue weight of the trailer but also the weight of any cargo stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. For a 2" hitch ball, you will also need part # HT33853 as the 800 lb system cannot be ordered with this.
