Timbren Kit to Help Prevent Bottoming Out of 1999 Chrysler Town and Country with RampVan
Question:
My 1999 Rampvan used to kneel. That feature no longer works, but the van still bottoms out if the ground is not level. A LOT of parking lots and driveways cause it to bottom out, even though the kneeler was left in the UP position. Ive taken it to shops, about that and why it drives so heavily. They say thats just the way Rampvans are. They say changing the shocks wont help. None of the shops have anything to offer that would help. Will your do-hickies help?

The Timbren kit part # TDVR05096 is a fit for your 1999 Chrysler Town and Country and will provide you with additional suspension support that will reduce suspension sag but it's not a lift kit. Most likely the weight of your ramp setup is causing your suspension to sag which is then causing the ground clearance issues you are having and the bottoming out issues. So this will help but it won't make the vehicle sit any taller than it was originally designed for.
Also you should note that this kit is designed to work with suspension in good working order. If you have worn out shocks or springs this kit can't be used as a band aid.
