Determining Correct Reese Sidewinder for 1991 Hitchiker 24RK 5th Wheel Trailer

I have purchased this camper and I would like to know what sidewinder hitch I need to install for my 2008 F150 the hitch on my camper is a Youngs Welding

In order to find the correct Reese Sidewinder Pin Box for your camper you will need to first determine what model pin box you currently have. There are a couple of ways I can help you determine this but unfortunately trailer manufacturer's don't do a very good job of making information like this available, and it can be especially difficult to track it down on older models like your 1991 Hitchiker 24RK.

First check and see if you can locate any tag or sticker on the existing pin box itself. This is typically where the pin box model is located but it may have been worn off over time on your particular trailer. If the sticker said 1621 on it you would know you have a Lippert 1621 bolt pattern and could replace it with the # RP34FR.

If you can't locate this sticker then your other option is to take a few measurements on the pin box and its bolt pattern to determine what model it is. I have attached a great article below that details all the measurements you will need to take along with a chart that lets you cross-reference those dimensions with a pin box model.
