How Does Furrion Chill Rooftop RV Air Conditioner Attach to RV
Question:
Looking to add a second ac unit to my Winnebago Minnie plus, which is pre wired for a bedroom unit, which is where I would install the unit. Watched the installation video and am not sure how the unit is attached to the rv roof. Are the threaded rods what hold the unit in place?

The Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR86PR that you referenced is designed to fit through roof openings that measure 14-1/2 by 14-1/2 inches which is the standard roof size hole for roof vents.
Basically the unit slips through the opening and then the black square bracket attaches to it on the interior and then you run 4 long bolts through the black bracket through the ceiling and then attaching to the AC unit on top of the RV.
