Comparing Yakima and Kuat Swingaway Hitch Adapters for Use on Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, that I want to carry 2 fat tire E-bikes on. 75 lbs. each I have decided on the Hollywood rack Sport Rider SE2 2 Fat Bike Rack because it appears to rate the highest for the amount of weight that it can carry. I need to be able to open my back tail gate, when the bikes are loaded and I also need to get the bike rack away from my spare tire. It seems to me I can kill 2 birds with one stone buy using either the Yakima swing away or the Kuat Pivot. Which one do you recommended? My hitch receiver is stock and is even with my bumper.see picture So I think the one that has the longest shank on it, that fits in my receiver would be the best. Your thoughts or questions please.

I like your line of thinking and would agree the pivoting adapter that extends out the most would be your best solution to give you best clearances possible past your rear spare. The Yakima # Y02483 is 4-7/8 inches longer than the Kuat # PV20B so the Yakima is the swing away adapter I recommend for you with the Hollywood Rack E-Bike rack part # HLY84FR.

The review video i attached for it shows it installed in a Wrangler hitch as well.
