Can Dirt Bike Carrier Fit on Jeep Wrangler Hitch and Clear Rear Spare

Question:

I have a dirt bike that wieghs 300lbs and a jeep wrangler to attach it to. The jeep wrangler has 12.5in wide spare tire on a carrier so it sticks out even futher than that. What would be my best option for a carrier for this bike?

If you can take one measurement we'll be able to determine if the Ultra-Fab motorcycle carrier part # UF48-979033 would fit past your spare. Measure from the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch out to the furthest point out on the spare. If that distance is less than 15-1/2 inches then this rack will clear past it easily. If not let me know what year Wrangler you have as we have hitches that have extended hitch tubes which would be the best way to get additional clearance.

If you had a 2007 through 2020 Wrangler the hitch part # e98856 would be the hitch to use. See attached picture to see clearance. These extensions reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50%.
