Replacing Trailer Wheel/Tire that Has Size 195/65-15 Installed

Question:

I recently bought a used older utility trailer 6X10, which has 195/65/15 car tires and wheels on it. I want to replace with trailer tires and new wheels. My main use for this trailer is hauling my golf cart. Can you recommend a correct size tire and wheel for my uses? Im thinking ST185/80/R13 with galvanized steel wheels, load range C. Your advice? Trailer is black angle iron with mesh floor, single axle. Heavier grade than Carryon or the like, with enclosed wheel wells inside.

Helpful Expert Reply:

A trailer tire size of ST185/80R13 would be a great solution for your trailer that has passenger tires/wheels on it currently.

The Loadstar # AM3S334 would be a great option as long as you have a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inch. It'll have more than enough capacity and since it's rated for trailer use it will be much safer than what you have. This is the only bolt pattern we offer for this size wheel and tire so if you have something different let me know and I'll help you come up with a solution.
