Can Swagman XC Bike Rack Fit 2019 Subaru Outback with Recessed Trailer Hitch

Question:

I have a 2019 Subaru Outback with a hitch that has the hitch pin 6.5 inches back from the bumper. Will the rack allow enough room to fit a bike on the inside of the rack. I measured the distance from the center of the bike to the outer edge of the pedal and it is 8 inches, so I am concerned about the pedal scratching the back of the vehicle.

The Swagman XC part # S64650 that you referenced has a distance of 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest bike hoop which means it will fit and clear you bumper. The pedal will also fit without hitting the vehicle but you may need to position the crank/pedal in a way that allows it fit around the bumper. I looked at pictures of your vehicle and the rear of it tapers forward too so this should be pretty easy.
