Can Jayco Camper Trailer Swap from 4 Lug Hubs to 5 on 4-1/2 inch Hubs
Question:
I have a 1995 Jayco 1006 pop up camper and would like to swap out the hubs and axleIf needed from a 4 lug hub to a 5 lug hub. There seems to be a wider variety of wheels and tires available with a 5 lug hub. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Pull one of the hubs off of your trailer and measure the diameter of the spindle where the bearings ride. If the diameter for both is 1.06 inches then the correct 5 on 4-1/2 inch hub would be the part # 8-259-50.
If instead you have a spindle with a diameter of .99 inch you'd instead want the # 34822545BX.
