Replacement Leaf Springs, Equalizers, and Shackle Straps for a Magic Loader Boat Trailer 6K Axles

Question:

I acquired a used trailer. The springs and equalizers are mismatched. I need to find out what the correct size is. It is a tandem axle magic loader boat trailer with 6000lb 2inx3in axles. The hanger spacing and length is: front 2 1/4in length and 29 1/4in to center hanger, center hanger is 5 1/4in length and 29 1/4in to rear, rear is 2 1/4in length. As it sits right now with the mismatched stuff the center lin axle to axle is 33in. Can you help me find the correct equalizer, spring length and shackle length?

There is not an exact size leaf spring, equalizer, and shackle strap length that must be used on your trailer but they do all have to be compatible with each other. That said, the measurements that you provided are fairly standard so I recommend using the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit part # APT5 with the 5-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e34SR (4). The leaf spring hangers can be discarded but it will be more cost effective to obtain the kit. These components will have the right combination of leaf spring, equalizer, and shackle strap length to ensure your trailer's suspension is functioning properly.

The only other thing you will need are u-bolts part # SP01-160 (4) and tie plates part # 117594 (4).
