Compressor for Air Spring Installation Leaking Air Pressure
Question:
Currently my air bags, loose 4to5 lbs of air in a four day period. Put 30 lbs in each, check 4to 5 days, have to refill, is this normal. Why do these bags leak. Havent been able to find any leaks around line connections. Is this just normal. If so, need to install compressor.

Air bag setups can develop leaks at the air spring itself but this is very rare. Usually the leak can be traced to a pinhole in the airline, an uneven tubing cut at a tee fitting or at a Schrader valve. The springs themselves are usually the least likely component to leak air.
You can use soapy water to help you find any leaks but installing an on-board compressor will certainly take care of the problem too and better still it give you the absolute best setup for getting the most of out the air springs.
Being able to adjust spring pressure from the comfort of the cab while you're driving means you can instantly dial in to the pressure sweet spot for any given driving conditions. The standard duty compressor # F2158 or the heavy-duty model # F2097 both will improve the usefulness of your air bag setup as well as overcome the issue of the slow leak.
