Long bed trucks don't actually need the extra turning clearance provided by a Sidewinder pivoting pin box but you certainly can still use one on a long bed truck that has a fixed 5th wheel hitch. To prevent the trailer pivoting at both the king pin and the rotating turret you will use a wedge that holds the king pin and pin box stationary at the hitch so that it pivots only at the Sidewinder's turret.
The 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride Sidewinder you referenced, part # RP61422, is a bolt-on replacement for several fixed pin boxes. As long as your pin box is one of the following models this Sidewinder will bolt right up and it includes the locking wedge.
