Leaf Spring Recommendation for Trailer with 5,200 lb Axles

Question:

My trailer has 5200 lb axles. Should I go with the 4-leaf, 5000 lb springs or the 6-leaf, 5300 lb springs?

Your best option would be to go with the 5,300 lb leaf springs as ideally you match the capacity exactly but if you can't then you'd go for next capacity higher. This ensures you aren't limiting the weight capacity of the trailer by the suspension and you still get soft enough suspension that it does cushion the ride.

So for that we have the # SP-222275 which has a 5,300 lb capacity and measures 24-7/8 inches in length from spring eye to spring eye.
