Can Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D Be Used on 400 aH Battery Bank
Question:
I found the Redarc BCDC 40Amp battery charger which looks to be a good solution for me except for the 200AH rating. I have a 2016 F-150 and 2x - 200AH LiFePO4 batteries 400AH total in a travel trailer. I would like to be able to charge the batteries from my truck while driving down the road. I believe that is what the Redarc is designed to do but, I have 400AH instead of 200AH. Is this actually a concern or will it just take longer to reach max charge level?

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D that you referenced will work great for you. This was designed for 200 amp hour and higher batteries like what you have. This is also compatible with the LifePO4 batteries you have as well. There would be nothing for you to worry about.
